APRIL

Meet Emma Lynn newest member of our family.  She's our third great grand child.  He parents our grand daughter and her boy friend living in Kentucky so we haven't met her yet but hope to in September.  Can't wait!  According to everyone she's a very good baby and just cries when she hungry.

My daughter got me an Etsy gift card for Christmas.  She can do that every year.  Hint, hint.
I got ths knitting bag from Skirted Fleece Mill.  I have my new sock project it.

Inside is lined with knitting needle patterned fabric and includes a pocket.  Its actually large enough for a shawl.  Love it.

Two new pairs of socks.  These I knit with a hand dyed knit blank.  I like the colors.  I knit them on two circular needles.

This is the first pair of socks I knit on a size 9" circular needle.  Takes some getting used to but after a awhild it's great.  I not happy with the color.  I thought it would be red white and blue but uts orange blue and gray.  I still can wear them with a pair of jeans.

I also bought two roving bumps from Skirted Sleece Mill.  I just started spinning it and so far realy like it.

You are not a moron or a dansel in distress
you are smart and able, and getting older is not a tragedy.

You are getting older so you might as well embrace it-whether you are 18 or 78, this is good advice! I love the socks-very pretty, and so it the knitting project bag!
