May!  Unbelievable!  I knitted a pair of lace socks for the first time.  I used a 11 stitch 4 row fan and feather repeat. If you look close you can see I knit them on 9" circular needles.

The yarn is Lion Brand pink sock yarn.  I found the yarn on Ebay at a very reasonable price.
I'm using the same yarn and trying to knit a pair of magic loop socks.  It's amazing what you can find on You Tube!  It's where I found all the instructions.

Also got another pair of socks knit on 9" circular needles.

I also finished  my Oaklette shawl.  This picture is of it being blocked.

Finished.  I only know the yarn is sport weight wool.  Each section was different which made it a fun knit.

I'm posting pictures of  three of my old purse.  The colors are much nice then they look.  What I wouldn't do for a better camera.

This one is gold with small gold mirrors.

I love this one the most.  Red my favorite color mirrors and beads.  Does it get any better than that?

I haven't found anything to interesting to read lately.  I like mysteries and these are different because the main charter is Jefferson Tayte Genealogist.  I got them  as download from Amazon

I'm not listening to anything to special either.  I'm in a real reading slump.

Nice to see what you have been up to! I am looking to try a 9" needle...I always use the magic loop toe-up pattern and thought to give it a bit of a freshen. So how did you like the needle? Was it difficult on your hands? The shawl is so pretty! Nice work.
