I'm starting with some WIPs. I've been working on the Blue Birch shawl designed by Chrissy Graham. I'm knitting the blue section in Knit Picks Preciosa Fingering Tonal Blue Skies. There is a lace section with I'll knit in the same yarn only while. So far I'm loving it. If you haven't seen any of Chrissy patterns check them out on Raverly Snappystitches
No, I haven't finished my socks yet but I have finished up the fleegle heel and going up the leg.
Amazing I've warping my small loom with white, light blue and dark blue Jagerspun wool yarn. I'm planning to do a demonstration this spring. I haven't sat at a loom in a year. I just don't have the energy to weave and seen to be doing a whole lot more spinning and weaving lately.
I bought three new books. The first two I bought used on Amazon. I love buying used books and so far I haven't had a problem with any of them. Lovely shawls in this book.
I've wanted to design some of my own scarves, cowls, and shawls so these next two are great for that.
This one I did pay full price for but I'm so glad I did. The stitches are written for both flat and round which will be great for something like socks and cowls.
My Christmas purchase was an Instant Pot. I bought it at Walmart on sale. Actually a pretty good sale. So far I've used it four times and everything turned out pretty good.
Please note I'm not advertising for Amazon, the books I'm read or the Instant Pot company. Just things I bought and like.
